Today we're talking about setting up a blog in Pipeline Funnels, which is great, as long as you have a long-term focus. Building a successful blog takes time and dedication to build up enough content and get it ranked on Google.
Objective
To create a blog using Pipeline Funnels for generating leads and providing valuable content to readers. The blog setup includes creating a blog site, individual posts, and a container page.
Key Steps
Accessing the Blog Setup
Log in to Pipeline Funnels and navigate to the "Sites" page.
Click on the "Blogs" tab.
Setting Up a New Blog
Click on "New" to create a new blog.
Enter a title, domain, and slug for the blog.
Provide a meta description for search engine optimization.
Click on "Create" to set up the blog.
Creating Blog Posts
Click on the blog site in the "Blogs" section.
Click on "New Post" to create a new blog post.
Add a title, image, and short description for the post.
Ensure to include an image (recommended size: 600x400 pixels).
Write the content of the post, add links if necessary, and format the text.
Click on "Update" to save the post.
Setting Up the Blog Container
Navigate to the "Websites" section in Pipeline Funnels.
Create a new website for the blog.
Add a new page for the blog homepage with a path or slug (e.g., /blog).
Design the header, body, and footer sections using sections, rows, and elements.
Customize the layout and design of the blog container page.
Click on "Save" and then "Publish" to make the blog live.
Generating Content Ideas
Utilize tools like AnswerThePublic.com to find popular questions related to the blog topic.
Choose relevant questions to answer in blog posts to attract readers.
Cautionary Notes
Ensure to follow the guidelines for image sizes and meta descriptions for better visibility.
Regularly update and maintain the blog to keep it engaging and informative.
Double-check the formatting and links in blog posts before publishing.
