Export Your Phone Contacts to CSV (iPhone or iCloud version)
Here's how to get all your iPhone contacts into Pipeline Funnels. This process takes about 10 minutes and lets you import hundreds of contacts at once instead of adding them one by one. Perfect for brand partners who want to build their Pipeline Funnels database using their existing network.
Why Export my Phone Contacts?
Your iPhone contains some of your warmest business prospects - friends, family, past colleagues, and people who already know and trust you. Instead of manually adding these contacts one by one to Pipeline Funnels, you can:
Import Your Entire Network: Get hundreds of contacts into Pipeline Funnels in minutes instead of hours
Existing Relationships: These people already trust you, making them more likely to be interested in your products or opportunity
Start with a Full Database: Begin your Pipeline Funnels journey with a robust contact list instead of starting from zero
Stay Organized: Tag and categorize your personal network to track which relationships turn into business/product opportunities
Two Methods: Free vs Paid
Method 1: iCloud Export (FREE - Recommended)
Cost: Completely free
Time: 10-15 minutes
Requirements: Computer access, iCloud account
Best for: Most users who want the free option
Method 2: iPhone App Export ($2-5)
Cost: Small app purchase
Time: 5 minutes
Requirements: iPhone only
Best for: Users who want the quickest option and don't mind paying
Important note about paid apps: Many "free" contact export apps use advertising, and some display questionable ads. If you choose a paid app, stick with well-reviewed options from the App Store.
Method 1: iCloud Export (FREE Method)
Step 1: Sync iPhone Contacts to iCloud (2 minutes)
On your iPhone:
Go to Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud
Toggle "Contacts" to ON (if not already enabled)
Wait a few minutes for contacts to sync to iCloud
Step 2: Export from iCloud.com (3 minutes)
On your computer:
Go to iCloud.com in your web browser
Sign in with your Apple ID and password
Click the "Contacts" icon (second from left)
You'll see all your iPhone contacts displayed
Export process:
Click the 3-dots icon just above the search box
Select "Select All" (shows how many contacts you have)
Click the share icon in the top right
Choose "Export vCard"
Save the .vcf file to your computer (typically downloads to Downloads folder)
Step 3: Convert vCard to CSV (5 minutes)
The exported file is in vCard (.vcf) format, but Pipeline Funnels needs CSV format.
Using online converter (recommended):
Click "Choose File" and select your downloaded .vcf file
Change format to "Gmail CSV" (works best with Pipeline Funnels)
Click "Convert"
Download the converted CSV file
Alternative - using Gmail:
Go to contacts.google.com
Click "Import" and upload your .vcf file
After import, select all contacts and "Export" as "Google CSV"
Step 4: Import to Pipeline Funnels (2 minutes)
In Pipeline Funnels, go to Contacts → Import Contacts
Upload your CSV file
Match the columns (Pipeline Funnels usually does this automatically)
Add a tag like "iPhone-contacts" or "personal-network"
Click Import
That's it! Your iPhone contacts are now in Pipeline Funnels. Remember, we do have a video walkthrough of this step HERE if you need it.
Method 2: iPhone App Export (PAID Method)
Step 1: Download an Export App (2 minutes)

Open the CSV in Excel/Google Sheets first to check formatting

Frequently Asked Questions
How many contacts can I export at once?
There's no limit from the iPhone/iCloud side. Pipeline Funnels can handle thousands of contacts in a single import.
Will this duplicate contacts already in Pipeline Funnels?
Pipeline Funnels is smart about duplicates - it matches by email address and updates existing contacts rather than creating duplicates.
Can I choose which contacts to export?
The iCloud method exports all contacts. Some iPhone apps let you select specific contacts, but it's usually easier to export all and then organize in Pipeline Funnels.
What if I don't have a computer for the iCloud method?
You'll need to use Method 2 (iPhone app) or ask a friend/family member to help with the computer-based conversion.
Will this mess up my iPhone contacts?
No, you're only copying/exporting contacts. Your iPhone contacts remain unchanged.
What information gets exported?
Typically: Name, phone numbers, email addresses, addresses, birthday, company, and notes. The exact fields depend on what you've saved for each contact.
Can I export contacts from other sources too?
Yes! Once you understand this process, you can export from Gmail, Outlook, Facebook, or any other source that provides CSV files.
